Youth and Young AdultsCity-Wide Youth and Young Adult Events
Regular youth and young adult events happen around Calgary through Regional Youth Ministries. You’ll find information on youth and young adult events below. You can also contact our youth staff through email at RegionalYouth@shaw.ca. Or telephone Director of Regional Youth Brenda McKellar at 403-259-4080. Programming includes a city-wide, monthly youth and young adult alternative worship service called Naked Faith. The service begins with supper at 6 pm, followed by worship at 7 pm and then fun activities and faith discussions. Our regional youth programming also works closely with Campus Ministries at the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University. Youth are also involved in the planning of events with the youth leaders through what’s called the Regional Youth Council.
For more information and peer group support check out: Calgary Queer Church’s website.
