Grief is a natural state that one experiences as a result of change. Many find themselves suffering following great changes (good or bad) in their lives without ever knowing why they feel the way that they do. It makes sense for us to grieve following the loss of a loved one. But few of us acknowledge grief when we have other losses in our lives. Grief can follow after the loss of (or simply change of) career, change in living arrangements, marriage/divorce, and any time that our sense of self is altered as a result of change in our lives.
These 90-minute sessions with Rev. Hillary Van Spronsen will explore the stages of grief through bible study and lessons from theology and psychology and introduce and teach spiritual practices that participants can adopt in their day-to-day lives.
Join Hillary for either the daytime or evening sessions. Any questions? Please email St. Andrew’s office or call 403–259-4080.
