Good Grief Group Session (6 week course)

The Good Grief Group Session is a 6-week small group offering specifically for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. At the end of six weeks, participants will understand coping strategies as well as recognize their own experiences within them. You will have opportunity to connect, share, and relate to others.  This group experience will provide space to be seen, heard and understood, wherever you are in your grief.   Offered by Lori Atkinson and Cheryl Millman


“Good Grief Workshop” and the “Good Grief Group Session”

Lori Atkinson knows grief personally through the death of her 31 year old son.  Professionally, Lori’s expertise is in coaching, group facilitation, career development and instructional design,  She has a Masters Certificate in Executive Coaching and Masters of Arts in Learning and Technology.

Cheryl Millman has walked through the waters of complicated grief with the sudden death of her 29 year old son 6 years ago.   She claims her “PhD” in life experience, first engaging and working her own grief, with the help of professional counseling.  She has worked the past two years assisting the AHS grief support program as facilitator to large and mid sized groups, as well as companion to smaller circles of bereaved people.
